We attended a meeting in a nearby village held in a home...

Tuesday Evening

Some 40 people cramped into this one room - all children and women. no men apart from the pastor. Trevor shared to an attentive audience. Phillip shared a Word of encouragement.

One striking thing was that the viliage had considerable poverty, yet is a stone's throw from the newly complete multi-plex cinema.

Wednesday

We had a tour of the National Institute of Rural Development. This was a practical display of different technologies by a secular government body to establish best practice in house design, water and sanitation, solar energy projects, tailoring and honey farming, etc. We considered how these practical solutions may best be implemented in villages across India, and in particular how OM may wish to apply this.

This afternoon we toured Hydrabad and explored some shops.

Prayer points:

Praise God that James has recovered to nearly fully health.

Phillip recovered from his back pain during the meeting just before he spoke - a clear answer to prayer.

Mark has been ill today - please pray for him for a full recovery.

We visit another Village tomorrow. Please pray that we may have our eyes open and to God's heart for these poor people.
