Detailed driving directions
If you are travelling from London or outside Brighton, read more detailed directions here...
From the M25 take Junction 7 onto the M23 (signposted to Brighton / Gatwick Airport). The M23 becomes the A23 - carry on following signs to Brighton.
After around 35 minutes you will pass through the ‘Gates of Brighton' (the two big pillars either side on the southbound carriageway). After a further 5 minutes or so you will go under a bridge and have the Brighton roundabout in front of you. You will need to be in the far right hand lane, as you will be turning right at the roundabout towards the petrol station.
Almost immediately as you take this right hand turn off the round about there will be a bridge in front of you and the road will go to a single lane where you will need to give way to on-coming traffic.
Go straight up this road until you get to the first roundabout at the top of the hill. You will need the first exit on the left signposted to Brighton. This road is Dyke Road.
Travel along this road, passing the Tesco Express petrol station and shop on your right hand side, and the Dyke Tavern on your left. You'll then pass the Booth Natural History Museum (not as grand as it sounds!) on your left, and the tennis courts on your right. After this you will come to the Sixth Form College on your right just before the traffic lights. Go straight across at these lights and you will come to a roundabout with 7 exits (Seven Dials roundabout). You will need to take the 6th exit which is signposted to Hove station (NOT Brighton station as the second exit is!) this road is called Goldsmid Road. After a very short distance this road becomes Davigdor Road (and you've made the transition from Brighton to Hove!).
After you have passed Wickes and a large redbrick office building (P&H) on your right, and Charter Medical Centre on the corner of Somerhill Road on your left, take the next left, which is Holland Road.
Head down towards the seafront, over the crossing, and Holland Road Baptist Church is on your left.
Parking
There is resident and metered parking in this area, but the church does have designated spaces on a Sunday morning for permit holders. Download a parking map and permit.
